Sam Tutoring is looking to hire tutors for both full time and part time positions. We are currently looking for tutors that envisage tutoring and being part of a nurturing and family friendly environment for at least 18 months.
Salary depends on experience and subject. We offer a base salary of £18,000 per annum for full time tutoring positions (with the potential to earn more).

Responsibilities Include
- Travel to the home of students’ to teach and also deliver sessions online when necessary.
- Teach both one on one and group sessions.
- Tutors will also have to contribute to the making and of resources and content.
- Tutors are expected to monitor, analyse and produce reports on students progress for internal analysis and for parents
- All tutors are expected to engage with our inhouse tutor development programme.
Required Skills
- Candidates must be passionate about teaching and learning and giving children the best possible learning experience.
- Candidates must be committed to understanding the ethos and values of the company
- Excellent communication skills
- Established proficiency in the subject matter you intend to teach or equivalent (for example A grade or above at GCSE or A*/A grade at A Level or equivalent if you intend to teach at Gcse or A Level).
- Ability to develop a rapport with students and parents.
- A good degree; at least Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1) or above. Candidates that have achieved Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2) in specific circumstances will be considered.
- Tutoring experience is desirable but not essential as training is provided.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
